Dovid Zaklikowski was born in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. He began his writing career at the age of 16 while studying at the Rabbinical College of America. Since then he has written thousands of articles, with a focus on Jewish history.

His articles have appeared in, among others, Mishpacha Magazine, Hamodia, Ami Magazine and the Jewish Standard. Dovid lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Chana Raizel, and their five children, Motti, Meir, Shaina, Benny and Mendel. Today, Dovid is a freelance journalist.
